Stun Grenades Rock Early Morning Raids in Abbey Wood
Stun grenades lit up the early hours of Wednesday, 8 April, as police smashed down doors in a series of raids across Abbey Wood and Greenwich. The dramatic swoop targeted suspected firearms, drugs, and violent criminals linked to a horrific attempted murder.
Four Men Arrested Over 2019 Shooting
The arrests come after a long-running probe into the December 2019 shooting of a 33-year-old man in Throwley Close, SE2. The violent attack, plus months of firearms offences and violent crime in the area, sparked this major police crackdown.
