What Went Down in Wallasey?

A 32-year-old man was slashed in a brutal stabbing near the Clairville Arms pub in Wallasey at around 1:25am on Saturday, 17 May. The victim suffered wounds to his hand and ear but thankfully his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

He stumbled into the pub seeking help after the attack. Emergency services raced to the scene and rushed him to hospital for treatment.

Police Launch Manhunt

Merseyside Police are on the case, appealing for anyone with info to come forward. Officers are combing through CCTV footage and knocking on doors to piece together what happened and find the culprit.

Detective Inspector Anna Hackett urged: “We’re determined to identify the person responsible for this assault and take them off the streets. We know someone in the local community has vital information. Please come forward—anonymously if necessary.”
