Weapon Found as Kent Murder Hunt Intensifies

Police have recovered a bloody weapon in a bush near the alley where a man was brutally murdered in Gillingham. The victim collapsed just yards from where he was stabbed in the street.

Forensics Seize Murder Weapon During Bush Search

Specialist officers carried out a mid-morning search of bushes backing onto the crime scene on Fox Street. They discovered the bloodied weapon and called in forensics experts, who carefully secured it in a plastic evidence tube.

A police drone also scanned the rooftops close to the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.

Man, 35, Dies After Street Stabbing on Fox Street

The victim, aged 35, was found and declared dead at the scene just after 1pm on Friday, 20 December. He had suffered stab wounds following an alleged argument with another man in the street.

A post-mortem is scheduled for Saturday, 21 December, as detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate continue their probe.

Police Still Hunting Suspect – No Arrests Yet

Officers remain at the scene, combing the area for any discarded weapons and gathering evidence. No arrests have been made so far.
