Vandals Wreck Victoria Park: Police Hunt Culprits

Victoria Park in Deal has been hit by a spree of vandalism in June 2022. Three separate incidents of criminal damage have local cops on high alert.

Windows Shattered, Toilets Smashed, Slide Sabotaged

  • First, a park window was smashed.
  • Next, the toilet system was viciously damaged.
  • Finally, a hole was gouged into a children’s slide.

Police investigations continue, but officers are urging locals to help catch the troublemakers.

PC Danielle Rolfe: “Deal Residents Deserve Better”

PC Danielle Rolfe said, “The people of Deal have a right to use this public space without it being ruined by a minority.”

The mayor added, “I would encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour or vandalism in the area to report it to us as soon as possible so that we can respond and take action against those responsible.”
