Victim Assaulted After Drug Question

A man walking through Great Lines Park was confronted by a gang of men around 9.20pm on Saturday, 23 October 2021. The group asked if he had any drugs. When the victim said no, they allegedly followed him and launched a brutal assault.

Injuries and Ongoing Investigation

The victim suffered injuries to his arm and face but has since been discharged from hospital. Police are hunting the suspects, described as five or six men involved in the attack.
