Shock Stun-Gun Attack and Car Vandalism in Farnol Road
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were targeted in a terrifying assault while sitting in a car on Farnol Road on Friday, 18 March 2022.
Thugs Zap Victim During Phone Robbery Attempt
A male suspect approached on foot and shocked the man through the car’s open window with a stun gun, aiming to snatch his mobile phone. Both the male and female suspects then fled, chased by the victim.
Suspect Descriptions Revealed
- Male Suspect: White, around 30 years old, 5ft 11in, medium build, messy mousey-blond hair, dressed in all-black tracksuit.
- Female Suspect: White, about 30, 5ft 5in, slim, light brown hair tied in a bun, wearing a grey and pink tracksuit with a grey beanie.
Masked Men Smash Car, Chase Woman on Keyes Road
While the female victim stayed inside the car, three men in dark clothes and balaclavas vandalised the vehicle with metal poles. They then chased the woman down Keyes Road, continuing to attack her car as she tried to escape.
Detective Constable Martin Stevens said, “This was an unprovoked attack on a man and a woman who did not know their assailants. It’s lucky neither was seriously harmed.”
“We urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward and help with our investigation.”
