Woman Attacked and Robbed in Maidstone – Police Seek Witnesses
Witnesses are urgently being sought after a woman was robbed in Maidstone late on Sunday night.
Attack on Footpath Near County Hall
The shocking incident unfolded on a footpath between County Hall and Lower Boxley Road, sometime between 11.45pm and 11.56pm on May 6, 2018. A man suddenly approached the victim, struck her in the face, and snatched her handbag. Thankfully, she escaped with no serious injuries.
Suspect Description Released
Just before the attack, the woman had been walking along Pudding Lane and Week Street. The suspect is described as a mixed-race male, around 5ft 6ins tall, sporting black hair and a short beard.
