Shock in Blunsdon as Woman Dragged Along Road After Van Theft
Victim Clings on as Thief Drags Her Down Blunsdon High Street
Terrifying scenes unfolded in Blunsdon this afternoon (22/09) when a woman in her 40s was dragged several yards after a thief stole her white delivery van.
The drama took place around 12:30pm on Blunsdon High Street. The victim was on a routine parcel drop when the robber jumped into her van and sped off.
Desperately, the driver clung onto the vehicle but was violently dragged along the road, suffering potentially life-changing injuries. She was rushed to hospital as police recovered the stolen van soon after.
Wiltshire Police Launch Hunt for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Wiltshire Police are appealing to the public for dashcam footage and any witnesses to help crack the case.
They have already spoken to several locals but urge anyone with information to come forward.
