Woman Raped in Brighton Pavilion Grounds – Police Launch Investigation

Police are hunting for a rapist after a woman in her early 20s was attacked in the grounds of Brighton Pavilion.

The victim was spotted running from the scene in distress at 5.45am on Saturday, June 8. A passerby raised the alarm, prompting a swift police response.

Forensic Teams Scour Indian Gate Area

The woman told officers she was raped shortly before being seen. She is now receiving specialist support. The area around the Indian Gate has been sealed off for forensic examinations as detectives comb for evidence.
