High Winds Halt Isle of Wight Zoo Charity Abseil

An all-women team of eleven brave fundraisers were set to abseil down the iconic Spinnaker Tower this Sunday. Their mission? To raise cash for the Isle of Wight Zoo’s vital tiger rescue project.

£6,000 Target to Save Ex-Circus Tigers

The daring group aims to smash a £6,000 target as part of The Wildheart Trust’s £50,000 Hearts for Tigers Appeal. The fundraising effort will help rehome tigers rescued from a Spanish circus, giving them a new safe sanctuary on the Isle of Wight.

Postponed But Not Beaten

The Zoo announced the abseil is postponed due to dangerous high winds. Safety comes first. They promised to reschedule ASAP and will reveal the new date soon.

Stay tuned and keep cheering on these tiger heroes!
