Fire crews called to reported explosion and fire at Lewisham Tower block

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters have been called to reports of an explosion and a fire that has hit a tower block on Russett Way in Lewisham. The London Fire Brigade was called to the blaze just after 2am on Tuesday morning following a number of calls. A number of specialist appliances have also been mobilised to the incident.
