A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 9 October. He remains in custody at a south London police station as investigations continue.
Deadly Stabbing Outside uk/where/morden/">Morden Flats
Police were called just before 11pm on Thursday, 1 October, following reports of a stabbing outside a block of flats on London Road, Morden. Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Two men were found with stab wounds. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, 25-year-old Patrick Gomes De’Almeida was pronounced dead at 11.26pm.
Second Victim Hospitalised, Not Life-Threatening
A second man, 33, was taken to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. His condition is stable.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
