Driver’s lucky escape on A3 near uk/where/hindhead/">Hindhead tunnel Long delays
A driver had a lucky escape after their car ploughed into the barriers on the busy northbound A3 this evening. the incident involving a black min cooper is just prior to Hindhead Tunnel. One lane remains blocked due to the collision and a spillage of Diesel that need to be made safe by Highways England. There are reported delays on approach and past the incident. The collision also caused a far amount of damage to the safety barrier that will need to be repaired. surrey/">Surrey Fire and rescue attended along with officers from Surrey Police who made the area and the vehicle safe
