South Yorkshire Police Are Looking For A New Home For One Of Their Horses

16.2hh, seven years old Gelding from Ireland Tommy, also known as Tommy Tankersley in South Yorkshire, is looking for a new home where he can reach his full potential.

Tommy has been with South Yorkshire Police for four years and is a lovely, gentle horse with impeccable ground and mounted manners. He has conducted regular patrols and is traffic-safe.

He is outgoing and eager to please, but he speaks snidely. He does well in school and has jumped and completed clinics, but he needs more training in this area.

Tommy has previously undergone surgery for a locking stifle, but this has had no negative impact on his health or abilities, and he has passed vetting.

Tommy is for sale through no fault of his own, but because he has not performed well as a police horse, the force needs to find him a new home.

Mounted Sergeant Collette Pitcher can be reached at [email protected].uk for more information and genuine inquiries.
