Tragedy on A46: Man Dies in Multi-Car Crash
West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to a horror smash on the A46 in Snitterfield at 7:25am. Three vehicles slammed into each other, sparking a major emergency response.
Three Vehicles, Three Patients
Paramedics, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car all attended the scene. A spokeswoman from West Midlands Ambulance revealed the grim details:
“Crews arrived on scene to find three vehicles involved in a collision with three patients identified, one of whom was critically ill.”
One Dead, Two Injured
The critically ill man, who was driving one of the cars, received advanced life support from the Doctor and Critical Care Paramedic. Sadly, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim, a woman driving another car, was freed from her vehicle by firefighters. She suffered non-life threatening injuries and was rushed to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire with sirens wailing for urgent treatment.
The third patient, a woman from the final vehicle, only had minor injuries and was allowed to leave the scene.
