Serious Crash Closes A2 Coastbound

Emergency services slammed the brakes on the A2 coastbound early Saturday after a deadly head-on crash near the Black Prince interchange in Bexley. The Met Police were called just after 6.30am to a two-vehicle collision that has forced a full closure of the road.

Traffic is being turned around at the on-slip of the Black Prince interchange, leaving drivers stuck in queues as they hunt for alternative routes.

Long Queues and Traffic Nightmare

One ambulance and police remain at the scene, working to manage the aftermath of this serious smash. Motorists are warned to expect delays and consider other routes as congestion builds.

A National Highways spokesperson confirmed:

“Due to a separate incident, traffic is currently stopped on the A2 eastbound between the A223 and A2018 near Bexley. This is adding to the full closure already in place near dartford/" title="Dartford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Dartford following the earlier crash.
