Emergency services slammed the brakes on the A2 coastbound early Saturday after a deadly head-on crash near the Black Prince interchange in Bexley. The Met Police were called just after 6.30am to a two-vehicle collision that has forced a full closure of the road.
Traffic is being turned around at the on-slip of the Black Prince interchange, leaving drivers stuck in queues as they hunt for alternative routes.

A National Highways spokesperson confirmed:
“Due to a separate incident, traffic is currently stopped on the A2 eastbound between the A223 and A2018 near Bexley. This is adding to the full closure already in place near dartford/" title="Dartford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Dartford following the earlier crash.
