Massive Firefighters Response
Fire crews from all over Hampshire rushed to tackle a huge blaze ripping through an agricultural building in Denmead tonight. Over 40 firefighters from Cosham, Havant, Fareham, Portchester, and Eastleigh battled the roaring fire.
Local Residents Urged to Stay Safe
Residents nearby have been warned to keep windows and doors shut as thick smoke billowed. Firefighters expect to be at the scene for several hours, working hard despite water supply challenges.
Stables Destroyed but Horses Safe
The blaze was finally brought under control using three main jets and two hose reel jets. The stables were completely destroyed, but thankfully all the horses managed to escape unharmed.
