Serious Crash in Weymouth: Woman in 70s Critical After Collision
Police are urgently hunting witnesses after a serious road crash on Dorchester Road, Weymouth, left a local woman fighting for her life.
Crash Details
- The smash happened at 5.43pm on Wednesday, 13 December 2023.
- A blue Mitsubishi, driven by a man in his 60s from Hertfordshire, was involved.
- The victim is a woman in her 70s, taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
- Emergency crews rushed to the scene and closed the road while investigations began.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We are conducting a full investigation into the circumstances of the incident,” said Police Sgt Richard Stroud from the Roads Policing Team.
“If you saw the collision or have dashcam footage, especially if you were in the area at the time, please come forward.”
