Serious Three-Vehicle Crash on A2 Near Dartford
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses and dashcam footage after a nasty three-vehicle smash involving two motorbikes and a car on the A2 coastbound near Dartford.
The crash happened around 4.50pm on Friday, 13 June, between Junction 2 of the M25 (Dartford Heath) and Old Bexley Lane.
Two Motorcyclists Hurt in Collision
The crash involved a black Triumph motorcycle and an orange KTM 360 bike that collided first. This triggered a secondary crash with a green Mini Cooper.
Emergency crews from South 1 rushed to the scene. One rider, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The second biker, a man in his 30s, was also injured but is now in stable condition. Next of kin have been informed.
Police Launch Witness Appeal
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the probe and urgently wants anyone who saw the crash or caught it on their dashcam to come forward.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw the motorcycles before the crash, or who may have captured the incident on dashcam,” a spokesperson said.
