Half of the ground floor of a five-storey building on Craven Road, Paddington, is engulfed in flames, the London Fire Brigade confirmed at 5.30pm on Thursday.

The brigade was alerted around 4.40pm and swiftly dispatched ten fire engines from Paddington, Kensington, North Kensington, Euston, and nearby stations to tackle the blaze.
