Pub Blaze Suspected as Arson in Longfield – Police Seek Witnesses

A fire that broke out at The Railway Tavern in Longfield is being treated as deliberate by Kent Police. Officers have launched an investigation and are urgently calling for anyone with information to come forward.

The blaze erupted just after 7.15pm on Thursday, 23 December 2021. Firefighters arrived quickly to find the pub’s exterior ablaze, believed to have been set using fuel-soaked rags. Luckily, everyone inside escaped unharmed, despite the intense fire damaging the building.

Help Police Catch the Culprit

Kent Police are combing through CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses as the arson probe intensifies. They want to hear from anyone who spotted suspicious activity or was inside the pub at the time.
