Flames ripped through a pile of rubbish at Carton House, New Road, Chatham just past midnight on Saturday, 13 December 2025. Firefighters and cops raced to the scene to tackle the blaze.
The fire didn’t stop there. It damaged a Jaguar and several other cars parked close by. Luckily, Kent Fire and Rescue doused the flames before they could spread any further.
Police Launch Arson Probe
Officers have kicked off a full investigation and released grainy CCTV footage of a woman who could hold the key to the case. They’re pleading for anyone who recognises her to come forward.
