Leona’s parents, Blessing and Ernest, along with her siblings Sean and Jayden, are desperate for answers. Their friend Josie Hughes set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for private testing and treatment, which the NHS has been unable to provide.

So far, generous donors have contributed £4,484 towards an £8,000 target. Josie shared, “Leona has suddenly become paralysed in both legs and lost sight in one eye. Doctors are baffled and can’t treat her because they don’t have a diagnosis.”
