Shocking Assault on Seven-Year-Old Outside Brighton Morrison’s
Police in Brighton are hunting a man who shoved a seven-year-old boy to the ground outside Morrison’s on St James’s Street. The attack happened around 7.15pm on 5 June 2024, sparking an urgent appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Young Boy Pushed Over in Disturbing Incident
The child was walking with his family when the suspect, heading the opposite way, suddenly pushed him, causing the boy to fall backwards. Luckily, the youngster escaped serious injury. But the family is shaken and desperate for justice.
Suspect Description Released
Officers describe the suspect as a large-built man, likely in his 20s, sporting a brown beard. He was wearing a blue woolly hat, a light blue or grey shirt, dark trousers, a dark blue scarf, and a blue lanyard at the time.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Sussex Police are calling on anyone who was near Morrison’s on St James’s Street around the time to contact them. Pedestrians or shoppers might have seen the altercation or the man involved.
