Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) sprang into action after a bungalow went up in flames on West Hythe Road. The fire broke out late on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, around 10pm.

Fire control operators wasted no time, dispatching seven fire engines, a height vehicle, and a bulk water carrier. Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and used powerful hose reel and main jets to douse the blaze swiftly and effectively.
