A blue Vauxhall Astra involved in a crash on Fareham’s Quay Street Roundabout last night has already made headlines this week – but for the wrong reasons. Thankfully, the baby wasn’t in the car this time.
Same Car, Different Drama
The owner of the Astra was previously slammed on social media for leaving her young child unattended in the vehicle while she shopped at Asda on Newgate Lane, Fareham. Photos showed the toddler strapped in a car seat alone in the back of the car.
Crash Caught on Witnesses’ Eyes
Last night’s accident saw the blue Astra lose control, hit a lamppost, and flip onto its roof. Witnesses say the woman was distracted on her phone as she took the corner off the roundabout towards the M27.
