Woman and Child Rushed to Trauma Centre After Peckham Crash

A woman and a child were urgently taken to a major trauma centre after a serious road crash in Peckham on the evening of January 19.

Swift Emergency Response

Emergency services were called at 9:24pm to the junction of Queens Road and Lausanne Road. The London Ambulance Service arrived on the scene in just six minutes.

Paramedics quickly treated the injured pair at the site before rushing them to a specialist trauma centre for further care.

“We were called at 21:24 yesterday (Sunday 19 January) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Queens Road and Lausanne Road, SE15. We sent multiple crews and arrived within six minutes. Our teams treated a woman and child at the scene and transferred them as a priority to a London major trauma centre,” a London Ambulance Service spokesperson said.

Police Launch Investigation

The Metropolitan Police have been notified and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the crash to come forward and assist the ongoing inquiry.
