Police have removed an imitation firearm after concerned members of the public dialled 999 after seeing a group of men with a gun at the top of Roseberry Topping in Middlesbrough
At approximately 1pm today, Cleveland Police responded to reports of a group of men holding a flag and waving what looked like a large AK47. The incident gained attention after a video showing the group circulated online.
Upon arrival, officers engaged with the men and confirmed that the weapon in question was an imitation firearm.
The police promptly confiscated the item and provided words of advice to the individuals involved.
