Gosport Council Shuts Public Toilets Over Drug-Den Chaos
The public loos behind Gosport bus station have been slammed shut after becoming a hotspot for drug addicts. Daily scenes of needles, blood, and vomit left the toilets looking more like crime scenes than facilities.
Filthy Drug Den Shuts Down
Gosport Borough Council confirmed the closure of the Jamaica Place toilets, located near the Gosport Ferry terminal. They cited “daily misuse” making it impossible to keep the area clean and safe for the public.
Needles and Debris Spark Safety Fears
Used needles and human waste were found scattered inside, prompting major health concerns. On top of that, reports emerged of people sleeping rough in the cubicles, adding to the safety risks.
Closure Until Further Notice
Council bosses say the toilets will remain closed until the drug misuse stops and the site can be secured. Locals want action to prevent this turning into a permanent no-go zone.
