Tragic E-Scooter Fall Claims Man’s Life in Heath Road

Man Falls from E-Scooter, Later Dies

Police were called at 7.10pm on Thursday, 15 July after reports that a man had fallen from an e-scooter on Heath Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene, including one ambulance.

The 53-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. Sadly, he died a week later on Thursday, 22 July.

Investigation Underway, No Other Vehicles Involved

The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. A post-mortem will be carried out in due course.

Police say no other vehicles appeared to be involved in the incident. Enquiries are ongoing as they piece together what happened.
