Woman Bundled Into Car and Raped in Ilford in Early Morning Attack

Just after 3.30am on Wednesday, 25 November 2020, a woman in her 20s was grabbed by two men on Ilford High Road. They forced her into a car and drove a short distance before brutally raping her inside the vehicle.

The victim also suffered facial and other injuries after being repeatedly punched during the attack.

Victim Escapes and Police Launch Manhunt

The men fled with the woman, but she bravely escaped in the Ilford area and immediately sought help. Police arrived quickly, and specialist officers are now supporting the victim.

Detectives from the East Area Public Protection Unit have launched a full investigation. Three men were arrested in Lincolnshire on 27 November. One has been charged with rape, while the other two remain under investigation.

Police Hunt Fourth Suspect – CCTV Image Released

Officers are appealing for help to trace a fourth man linked to the incident. A CCTV image captured near the scene shows a man they want to identify.
