Fire Breaks Out at Swanky Mayfair Hotel

Four fire engines and 25 firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze at a Mayfair hotel on Park Lane.

Damage Limited But Alarming

The fire hit a lower ground floor room in a staffing block attached to the main eight-storey building. Flames also damaged part of the building’s extraction ducting.

No Injuries Reported as Fire Under Control

The London Fire Brigade received the call at 3:15pm and had the fire under control by 5:02pm.

Crews from Soho, Paddington, and Unit 1 fire stations battled the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
