Crash Chaos at Byfleet Junction – Two Drivers Lucky to Escape Serious Injuries
Two drivers walked away from a nasty smash tonight at a busy junction in Byfleet. A silver Honda and a black Nissan panel van collided on Seven Hills Road, right by the 1 Hilton Hotel.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
The crash happened just before 8pm on Tuesday at the junction of Seven Hills Road and Byfleet Road. Surrey Roads Policing teamed up with Highways England traffic officers to shut one lane of the A245 near the A3 bypass, causing delays during rush hour.
Injuries Minor but Delays Expected
Two ambulances from South East Coast attended and treated several people involved. Thankfully, police confirmed no serious injuries were reported.
Road Partially Blocked as Recovery Waits
The road remains partly blocked by emergency vehicles. The access road to the Hilton hotel is also blocked as recovery teams are yet to remove the damaged vehicles.
