- Exit at junction 7 and take the first exit onto the A30 towards Basingstoke.
- Continue through Basingstoke along the A30 until you reach Black Dam Interchange.
- Take the third exit onto the M3 Spur Road leading to junction 6.
- Rejoin the M3 eastbound by taking the first exit from the roundabout.
