Duke of Kent Set for Isle of Wight Royal Tour!
Royal Visit on May 23
The Duke of Kent, Prince Edward, is heading to the Isle of Wight on 23rd May for a special visit. The royal is expected to make headlines as he tours some iconic local spots.
Stops at Historic and Heroic Sites
First on the itinerary is the solemn Romanov Memorial on York Avenue. From there, he’ll take a short trip to the famous Osborne House, once Queen Victoria’s seaside retreat.
Back to the Lifeboat Centre
The Duke will also visit the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat Centre along the River Medina. Notably, this isn’t his first visit – he previously toured the centre back in 2009, showing his ongoing support for the lifesaving heroes.
