Emergency Rush to Newport After Motorbike Crash
Emergency crews raced to the outskirts of Newport this afternoon following a motorbike collision. Officers from the Joint Armed Road Policing unit of Hampshire Constabulary and Isle of Wight Ambulance paramedics were called just after 12:15pm on Sunday.
Motorcyclist Injured After Crash with Family Car
The motorbike rider fell near Mole Country Stores on Southbank, Blackwater Road, Newport. The rider was involved in a collision with a Citroën C4 Picasso. Paramedics are currently treating the injured biker at the scene.
Heavy Traffic Delays Reported
Traffic approaching the incident is crawling, with drivers warned to expect significant delays.
