Fatal High-Speed Crash on M9 Near Stirling
Police Scotland is hunting for witnesses after a deadly crash on the M9 motorway near Stirling on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Around 11:50am, a white Vauxhall Corsa veered off the southbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9 and plunged down an embankment.
Police Chase Ends in Tragedy
The Vauxhall had been involved in a police pursuit before the horrific crash. Emergency crews raced to the scene, but sadly the 27-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Passengers Taken to Hospital
Two male passengers, aged 19 and 20, were rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for medical checks following the smash.
Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward and help with the investigation.
