Tragedy on Mancunian Way: Young Woman Dies After Car Hits Railway Bridge
Fatal Crash Rocks Manchester
Emergency crews rushed to Mancunian Way in Manchester just before midnight on Monday, 10 January 2022, after a white Mercedes slammed into a railway bridge near the road’s end.
One Dead, Two Hospitalised
Tragically, the front-seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl, died at hospital. The 18-year-old male passenger in the back seat is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The 23-year-old male driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing as police piece together what happened.
