False Alarm Sparks Fire Crew Rush in Shanklin

A fire crew from Shanklin scrambled to a property on Sandown Road, Isle of Wight, this Monday morning (21st May) after a fire alarm sounded on the first floor.

Neighbours Raise the Alarm

Worried neighbours feared the worst and called in the emergency services. The crew arrived shortly after 8am, only to discover the alarm was triggered by a faulty system. Thankfully, no fire or injuries were found.

Firefighters Stand Down

With the false alarm confirmed, the crew have now left the property and returned to their home station, ready for the next call.
