Kent Fire and Rescue Services were scrambled to a flat on fire above a kebab shop on South Street, Deal. Four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform tackled flames ripping through the top floor of the four-storey building.
Firefighters Fight Flames with Full Force
Decked out in breathing apparatus, crews slammed the fire with a hose reel jet, two main jets, and water from a hydrants. The relentless attack kept the blaze in check and prevented it from spreading further.
