Massive Blaze Erupts on Chingford Mount Road

Ten fire engines and 70 firefighters are battling a fierce flat fire with shops below on Chingford Mount Road. The London Fire Brigade was called at 4:17pm on Wednesday, 30 November 2022, and crews from multiple stations raced to the scene.

Residents Evacuated as Fire Spreads to Roof

Residents were evacuated as the fire spread up to the roof of the affected building. Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the blaze and prevent further damage.

Road Closed, Public Urged to Avoid Area

A road closure is in place between Frances Road and Royston Avenue. Station Commander Paul Green urged everyone to stay clear: “Fire crews are working hard to bring the fire under control. Please avoid the area if possible.”
