Firefighters Race to Electrical Blaze in Cowes
Fire crews from Newport on the Isle of Wight rushed to tackle an electrical fire this afternoon. The call came just after 4.30pm from Medina Road, Cowes.
Fuse Box Sparks Smoke and Flames
Firefighters removed cupboard doors to access the source – a smoke-filled fuse box that had caught fire. Once the power was cut off, they quickly put out the flames using a single hose reel jet.
Thanks to their swift action, the fire was contained before it could spread further.
