Fire Crews Race to Blaze on M27
Firefighters from Hightown rushed to tackle a vehicle fire on the M27 between junctions 8 and 9. A maroon Ford Fiesta is ablaze in lane 1, while police have shut lane 2 to help crews contain the fire.
Traffic Chaos Ahead
Motorists are warned to brace for delays as emergency services work hard to put out the blaze. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service revealed they are receiving a surge of calls about the incident.
“We are receiving a high volume of calls to a vehicle fire on the M27 between junctions 8 and 9,” the fire service said. “Be aware, traffic may be affected by this.”
