Huge Fire Erupts in Kidlington: Pallets and Gas Cylinders Blaze Out of Control

At around 10:20pm tonight, fire crews from Kidlington, Rewley Road, and a water carrier from Wheatley rushed to tackle a massive blaze involving a large number of pallets and gas cylinders.

Flames Visible Across Kidlington and Beyond

The fierce fire lit up the night sky and could be seen from miles away, including Kidlington, Begbrooke, and the A44 area. Thames Valley Fire Control was flooded with emergency calls while crews battled to find the best access to the scene.

Cause Unknown & No Injuries Reported

Due to the remote location, the origin of the fire remains a mystery. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. However, early in the blaze, some gas cylinders exploded, sending debris flying significant distances.
