Blaze Breaks Out in Barham Loft Near Canterbury
Firefighters rushed to a loft fire in Barham, just outside Canterbury, early this evening. Kent Fire and Rescue were called just before 5.45pm after smoke was spotted billowing from the roof.
Quick Response Controls Dangerous Loft Fire
Two fire engines arrived fast. Fire crews, kitted out with breathing apparatus, attacked the flames with a hose reel. They also cut off the electrical supply to prevent further hazards.
No Injuries Reported
Thankfully, no casualties have been reported so far. Firefighters continue to monitor the situation as they work to fully extinguish the fire.
