Kitchen Blaze Rips Through Ground Floor of Detached Home
A fire ripped through part of a ground floor in a detached house this morning, sending one man to hospital with smoke inhalation.
Heroic Escape and Rapid Fire Response
The occupant managed to flee the property before firefighters arrived. Station Commander Tom Conlon revealed the blaze started in the kitchen. The man escaped to the garden, where firefighters quickly gave him oxygen until paramedics took over.

Firefighters Bring Blaze Under Control

- Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended from Kingston, Surbiton, New Malden and Twickenham stations
Investigators remain at the scene hunting for the cause of the fire.
