Firefighters Battle Through Night

Firefighters are locked in a fierce battle with a huge blaze tearing through an agricultural building near Marsh Road, Burham on Crouch. The fire broke out earlier this evening and has filled the area with heavy smoke. Crews are working non-stop through the night to control the inferno.

Smoke Blankets Local Area – Stay Indoors

Station Manager Scott Fretton reported: “The building is completely alight and firefighters are making steady progress, but expect to be here overnight. There is still a lot of low-level smoke in the area, so if you live nearby, please keep your windows and doors shut.”

Backup Crews on Standby

Relief teams from Harlow, Colchester, Clacton, Grays, Brentwood, and Orsett have been called in to support and monitor the scene through the night. Despite the dramatic blaze, thankfully no injuries have been reported.

Investigation Looms as Fire Rages On

Firefighters are working hard to contain the flames and stop the fire spreading further. Authorities have warned local residents to remain cautious and stay indoors due to the smoky conditions. Once the fire is out, a full investigation will be launched to find out what sparked the disaster.
