Blaze Breaks Out on Brighton Brewery Roof

Firefighters raced to the North Laine Brewhouse on Gloucester Place, Brighton, after flames sparked in an extractor fan on the building’s roof. The emergency call came in at 6:10 PM on Tuesday evening.

Quick Action Quells Fire Before It Spreads

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) revealed Brighton crews swiftly tackled the rooftop fire. They sent two fire engines and an aerial ladder platform to the scene, dousing the flames fast and keeping the damage to a minimum.

“Brighton crews quickly dealt with an extractor fan fire on a roof after being called at 6.10pm to North Laine/Gloucester Place. No reports of injuries,” ESFRS confirmed.

Thanks to rapid response and fire-fighting muscle, no one was hurt and the blaze was snuffed out before it could threaten the public or surrounding buildings.
