Tragedy struck at Weymouth train lines in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers arrived at 2.25 a.m. to find 15-year-old Roxy Phillips unresponsive on the tracks.
Paramedics battled to save her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Heartbroken Over Sudden Loss
In a heartfelt statement, Roxy’s family said: “We are devastated by the loss of our daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, and cousin, Roxy Phillips.”
They described Roxy as a strong-willed young woman with a big heart, especially for animals. Her beloved horse, Bradley, was her pride and joy.
Friends and Family Mourn Roxy
“Roxy was adored and loved by her friends,” the family added. “We’ve felt the support through tributes and kind messages.”
“We will always love and miss you, our beautiful Roxy,” they vowed.
Police Probe Continues
British Transport Police confirmed the investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further details have been released at this stage.
