Kent Police are on the hunt after an 80-something woman was mugged in broad daylight on Deal High Street.
Grabbed From Behind Near Supermarket
The victim had just withdrawn cash from a bank on Saturday, 20 May, when she turned into Queen Street just before 5pm. As she walked past a supermarket, a teen snatched her purse from behind.
Teen Suspect Fled But Public Gave Chase
Detective Inspector Cox described the suspect as a white boy, around 16 or 17 years old, wearing a black tracksuit. Locals gave chase in the direction of Blenheim Road but lost sight of him.
